INDIANAPOLIS — On Monday evening Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) robbery detectives arrested two juveniles for four separate robberies.
Witnesses called police around 8 p.m. and alerted dispatchers of a group of juveniles walking that they believed had robbed them during an earlier robbery. Uniformed officers responded and stopped a group of juveniles in the 7800 block of W. 10th St. IMPD robbery detectives responded and transported a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old to IMPD police headquarters for questioning. After being interviewed by detectives the suspects were positively identified as two suspects responsible for four separate robberies. Detectives believe the suspects used a silver and black BB gun during the robberies.
Both suspects have been arrested as juveniles, therefore, no booking photos are available at this time. IMPD continues to urge residents to report illegal activity to Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS. In this case, the community provided critical information that aided detectives during this investigation.
Detectives have arrested the juveniles for the following robberies:
* 2/08/14 - Dominos Pizza – 7875 W. 10th St.;
* 2/28/14 - Big Lots – 4711 W. 30th St.;
* 3/8/14 – Fazoli’s – 7218 W.10th St.; and
* 3/9/14 – Domino’s Pizza – 7875 W. 10th St.
