The Stanley K. Lacy (SKL) Executive Leadership Series is seeking emerging community leaders to apply for Class XXXVIII. Applications are available online at www.SKLIndy.com and are due by April 22.
SKL is designed to help emerging community leaders become more informed about the issues and needs facing Central Indiana, more motivated to get involved in addressing those issues, and more connected and more effective in their service to the community.
The mission is to equip class participants with the knowledge and resources to become powerful agents of change in the community. The program runs from September 2013 to June '14, and classes meet monthly.
Applicants are selected on the basis of professional achievement and community involvement. They should have a demonstrated interest in community issues, a record of participation in voluntary community activities, occupy a position reflecting significant achievement relative to age and experience, have lived in Greater Indianapolis for three or more years, and be between the ages of 25 and 45.
