— Celebrate German Culture: Surreal Collage Photo Transfers will at 4 p.m. Sept. 23. Adults and teens are invited to create Max Ernst-style collages using photocopies from 19th century pictorial archives. — Job Center at the Library, will be from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, and 25. In partnership with WorkOne and EmployIndy, the Library presents a free service for unemployed or underemployed individuals to receive one-on-one assistance to enhance their employment skills. The session will focus on job search strategies, interviewing skills, resume development, and instruction on basic computer skills. The Job Center is made possible by The Indianapolis Foundation Library Fund and Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
— Computer Tips & Tricks: Computer Basics, will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Sept. 5. Adults are invited to learn basic computer skills such as using a mouse, making a folder, and opening applications. Bring questions for help with individual problems.
