— The Indy Chamber recently named Brian Gildea its vice president of Indianapolis economic development and Mark Fisher its VP of government relations and policy development.
Gildea will lead economic development efforts for the City of Indianapolis/Marion County. Gildea currently serves as economic development director of Austin, Texas, and previously served as economic development director for Elkhart. He plans to relocate to Indianapolis this month and begin his new role in early February.
Fisher will take leadership of the Indy Chamber's government relations and policy development teams following service as interim director of Develop Indy. He brings years of government and private sector business experience to the role, which will develop policies and design legislative strategies to help businesses grow in Central Indiana. Fisher assumes his new position immediately.
