BDSC offers soccer camp

The Ben Davis Soccer Club is offering a summer camp July 8 to 12, put on by Challenger Sports British Soccer. Sessions are offered with different times for various age groups.

For children ages 4 to 6, the camp offers Mini Soccer for five days with one session running from 9 to 11 a.m. and the next running from 6 to 8 p.m. Young players will learn and practice the fundamental skills of the game through challenges, skill-building activities, and small sided games.

For children ages 7 to 14, the camp offers Half Day sessions for three hours for five days with one running from 9 a.m. to noon and the second from 5 to 8 p.m. Players will go through drills that include individual foot skills, fake moves and turns, freestyle soccer, dribbling, passing and receiving, shooting, heading, tackling and defending, and the Camp World Cup.

Also offered is a goalkeeper camp for youth ages 7 to 14 that runs from 5 to 8 p.m.

Cost for the Mini Soccer is $94 with costs for the Half Day and Goalkeeper Camps at $125.
