UUCC services listed for Nov. 10
The Unitarian Universalist Community Church in Danville will offer an adult Credo discussion in the church fellowship hall at 9 a.m. Nov. 10. Newcomers are always welcome.
Children participate in the adult worship service for the first 15 or 20 minutes, and then go to their religion education classes.
At 10 a.m., the Rev. Lynda Smith will present “Buddhist Teachings as East Meets West.” It’s an examination of the basic tenets of Buddhism and how Buddhism is growing in the U.S.
Worship services at UUCC are varied in subject and in form and can include sermons, panel discussions, and congregational discussions on religious and moral issues, and intergenerational celebrations.

Church plans to honor veterans
Danville Christian Church, 180 W. Main St., is inviting all veterans and family to Sunday Worship Nov. 10. The church is planning a special recognition for those who have served or are serving our country.
Church offering addiction program
Brownsburg Baptist Church hosts an addiction program.
“Reformers Unanimous” meets 7-9 p.m. each Friday at the church, 3331 N. C.R. 900 E.

Church hostingdinner, bazaar
A Harvest Dinner and Bazaar, sponsored by the Christian Women’s Fellowship, will run from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Pittsboro Christian Church, 216 N. Maple St.
The menu will include chicken and noodles, roast pork loin, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, assorted vegetables and salads, biscuits and apple butter, and homemade pies and desserts. Cost for the meal will be $7.50 for adults and $3.50 for children. Children younger than 3 may eat for free.
There will be handmade items and baked goods available for purchase as well.
Proceeds will benefit ministries of the Disciples Women.
