Hendricks County Flyer
---- — Fresh off the road from touring and opening for country music stars such as Travis Tritt, Jason Aldean, Darryl Worley, and Jerrod Niemman, country music entertainer and Danville Community High School alum Levi Riggs will be celebrating his fourth studio album release at Danville’s historic Royal Theater at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 7.
His recent hits include “My Best Friend’s A Girl” and “There’s Still A Place For That,” a song that featured many historic Hendricks County landmarks in his CMT music video.
Matt McClure, record producer from Nashville, Tenn., used band members of Reba McIntyre, George Strait, and Kelly Clarkson in the production of Riggs’ new record titled “I’m Good.” McClure has landed back-to-back Billboard No. 1 songs with Lee Brice. The record features songs from hit writers Brett James, Steve Diamond, and Mark Nesler, as well as tunes penned by Levi and his younger sister and band mate, Lauren Riggs.
The show will be opened by Indianapolis-based BlueTown Bluegrass Band, a mix of fiddle, banjo, and mandolin.
Riggs’ band, including guitarist Joey Baugh of Danville, has entertained at two Super Bowls, Klipsch Music Center, WE Fest: the largest country music festival in the nation; and at venues all over the country.
Tickets are $15 and are available online at www.royaltheaterdanville.info and can be purchased at the door the night of the show. All ages are welcome. Beer and wine will be available.
