---- — Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church invites all in the community to a special concert by Ernie Couch & Revival at 3 p.m. Oct. 20.
There is no admission charge, but a freewill offering will be taken for the gospel group.
Ernie Couch & Revival, a male gospel group from Nashville, Tenn., performs a mixture of 20th century gospel classics. The group is known across the U.S. and Canada for its music and humor.
“We want to reach everyone, from all age groups and backgrounds, with the message of our music,” band member Jason Couch said. “We enjoy what we do and want the people to enjoy it as well. We certainly will give it all we’ve got, in the time that we have.”
The band has traveled for almost two decades. Besides a Grammy nomination and having a number of songs in the gospel charts both here and abroad, Ernie Couch & Revival has recorded with such greats as George Beverly Shea, Jake Hess, George Jones, and Petra and Patti Page.
Jason and Ernie Couch were also previous members of the famed Plainsmen Quartet.
