— Klipsch, a speaker manufacturer, in collaboration with Klipsch Music Center, recently announced the upcoming auction of the brand's custom-made Orange County Chopper motorcycle featuring signatures from some of the world's most famous recording artists.
Debuting May 9 through 11 at Auction America's Auburn Spring event, the motorcycle will be sold to the highest bidder with all funds benefiting Make-A-Wish to help grant wishes to Indiana-native children.
"While no stranger to charity, this endeavor is by far the most exciting and rewarding experience we have ever conceived as a company" Paul Jacobs, CEO of Klipsch, said in a press release. "With the help of our valued partners at Live Nation and Auctions America, we are honored and humbled to impact the lives of deserving Indiana children, while also sharing our passion for live music with the custom collector community."
Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana Corporate Campaigns Manager Amy Nelson said, "We are truly grateful for the generosity of Klipsch and their dedication to our mission. Funds raised from the auction of the Orange County Chopper motorcycle will help bring the magic of a wish come true to local children battling life-threatening medical conditions."
Auctions America's Auburn Spring event returns to the historic Auburn Auction Park in Auburn, Ind. A spring tradition for global collectors and enthusiasts, the annual event combines a multi-day auction, swap meet, and car corral to make for a celebration of all things automotive. Over the years, Klipsch has worked closely with Make-A-Wish in Indiana to grant wishes to children who have been diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses.
