BROWNSBURG — Stephanie Marie Pike and Tom McDonald, both of Sonora, Calif., were married Dec. 19 in Nassau, Bahamas, with Geoff Harkness officiating.
Sarah Needham served as honor attendant and Dave Hernden as best man.
The couple celebrated with 50 friends and family members aboard a Carnival Dream cruise ship.
The bride is the daughter of Steven and Cindy Pike of Brownsburg. She graduated from Brownsburg High School in 2000, from Purdue University in ‘04, and completed physician assistant studies at the University of Kentucky in ‘07. She works as a physician’s assistant in Sonora.
The groom is the son of Jim and Nancy McDonald of San Francisco. He graduated from De La Salle High School in 1991 and from the University of California in ‘95, earning a medical degree in 2003. He completed his orthopaedic residency in 2008 and an Indiana Hand Center Fellowship in ‘09. He is an orthopaedic and hand surgeon with a private practice in Sonora.
Following the cruise, the couple honeymooned in Puerto Rico.
