Mertz-Pence wedding

Kelly Mykel Mertz of Geneva and Aaron Michael Pence of Ossian are marrying today in a ceremony in Berne.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Sandy Mertz of Geneva. She graduated from South Adams High School and Indiana University-Purdue University of Fort Wayne with a degree in dental assisting.

She works as a dental assistant at Blake Aesthetics in Fort Wayne.

The groom is the son of William and Judy Pence of Avon, and Durward and Shari Bolding of Arlington, Texas. He graduated from Avon High School and the Community College of the Air Force with a

degree in avionics systems and is studying organizational leadership at Indiana Tech. He works as a technical sergeant with the 122nd Fighter Wing, Indiana ANG.

Jennifer Mertz-Will is serving as honor attendant with Jaime Mertz-Beitler as bridal attendant. Adam Pope is serving as best man, with Derek Barton as groomsman.
