Amanda Michelle Reckerd of Clayton and Martin Bonilla Alfaro of Indianapolis were married Nov. 12 in Clayton with the Rev. Gary Black of the Clayton Christian Church officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Robin Reckerd of Plainfield. She graduated from Plainfield High School and from the Purdue School on Engineering & Technology at IUPUI with a bachelor of science degree in construction management and associate degrees in interior design and architecture. She works for Allison Transmission.
The groom is the son of Martin and Digna Bonilla of Indianapolis. He graduated from high school and vocational training in Honduras and is self-employed as a mechanic.
Serving as honor attendants were the bride’s sisters, Heather and Jessica Reckerd.
The best man was Jose Vasquez and serving as groomsman was Austin Bonilla, the groom’s son.
Following a honeymoon to the Smoky Mountains, the couple is residing in Clayton.
