Erica New of Bloomington and Clayton Taylor of Clayton were married in an outdoor ceremony Oct. 19, 2013, at Eagle Pointe Golf Resort in Bloomington. David Empson from Hazelwood Christian Church officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Angela New. She graduated from Bloomington North High School in 2008 and studied computer science at Morehead State University in Kentucky and Indiana State University in Terre Haute. She works as a marketing specialist at Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corp.
The groom is the son of Tom and Angela Taylor of Clayton. He graduated from Cascade High School in 2008 and Indiana State University in ‘12 with an automation technology degree in engineering. He works as an automation engineer for PACIV Engineering in Indianapolis, at the Eli Lilly/Elanco plant in Clinton.
Grandparents of the couple are Phillip and Kay Griffith of Danville, the late Gilbert (Bud) and Barbara Taylor, Christy and Penny Koontz of Spencer, Sierra Webb of Bloomington, and Audrey Sears of Bloomington.
Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor are residing in Terre Haute.
