Accident sends one to hospital

A two-car collision Tuesday sent one to the hospital and both cars away on tow trucks.
The accident occurred shortly before 11 a.m. in a construction zone just north of the intersection of Dan Jones Road and U.S. 36 when a Saturn VUE and a Cadillac CTS collided.....more>>

    A fire Wednesday partially destroyed a mobile home in the Avon Lakes subdivision at 2135 Redland Road here.
    Homeowner Judy Pennington was not at home when the fire began. Her three grandchildren who reside with her at the home and the family dog were also out of the house during the fire.
