“He’s going to be great for us,” Drosche said. “He did a phenomenal job tonight in his first start and we wished we could have gotten him the win.”
On the flip side, Plainfield was missing two of their major contributors on the mound and has been trying to find a way through that according to McKeon.
“We are just trying to string together a rotation,” McKeon said. “We have guys going out there that haven’t pitched before or haven’t pitched in a long time, but they are giving themselves up for the team and that’s what we’re all about.”
