The clinics are developmental workouts designed for fundamental growth before basketball season begins. Grades K-1 will run from 1:15-2 p.m.; grades 2-4 from 2-3 p.m.; grades 5-6 from 3-4 p.m.; and grades 7-8 from 4-5 p.m.

Cost is $75 and registration deadline is Sept. 5. Registration forms are available at the high school athletics office.

ACST holds registration

The Avon Community Swim Team will hold open enrollment for its learn to swim program.

Registration and evaluation for the Learn to Swim program are from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today and tomorrow. Practices will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, beginning Sept. 3.

Participants should enter the Avon High School pool from Door 21 and bring a swimsuit, goggles and towel.

AJAA volleyball sign-up set

The Avon Junior Athletic Association (AJAA) is currently registering online until today for its fall volleyball programs.

Registration is open to Washington Township girls in fourth through eighth grades and also offers a coed league for players in grades nine through 12.

DBB holds fall baseball sign-up

The Danville Baseball Boosters are hosting a fall baseball league for 2013-14 high school aged boys.

The league is open to players in surrounding areas and begins Sept. 8.
