In addition to Mavunga, the Bulldogs had eight players enter the scoring column, paced by Mackenzie Trout’s five points.
Gabrielle Gary led the way for McCutcheon with nine points, while Kerstyn Lowery chipped in seven.
Looking back over the first half of the season, Mavunga said she saw a lot of special things from this squad.
“We’re excited and are getting better day by day,” she said. “Coach pushes us and we have really good leaders on the team ... We practice really hard, but we love each other still. We’re so intense in practice and we have each other’s backs. On the court, you see us point at each other and laugh. We really seem to be a good fit.”
Brownsburg hopes to build on its momentum when the team travels to Zionsville on Jan. 16.
