MSOC offers hoops contest March 1
The Mill Creek Optimist Club is holding its annual Tri-Star Basketball Contest at 2 p.m. March 1 in the Cascade Middle School gymnasium.
The contest is free to all participants and is open to boys and girls who were ages 8 to 13 as of Jan. 1.
Participants must reside in the Mill Creek Community School District.

BHS football holds spring meeting
The Brownsburg High School football team will hold a spring meeting at 6:30 p.m. March 19 in the auxiliary high school gym to discuss upcoming spring and summer events.
Participants should enter through Door 14.
Items to be discussed include lifting schedules, camps, physicals, competitions and information for the fall season.
All players and parents of incoming ninth- through 12th-grade participants are invited.
Brownsburg head football coach Brett Comer will run the event and his staff will also be in attendance for a meet and greet.
Soccer club holds registration
The Mill Creek Optimist Soccer Club has opened its spring soccer registrations.
MCOSC offers recreational and rec plus soccer for both girls and boys ages 5 to 18 who live in the Mill Creek Community School District.
Individuals may register online or in person.
In person registration may be made from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Clayton Public Library.
Registration end FThursday, although late registrations may be accepted if there is room on a team.
The season begins in March for the older players and in April for the younger players.
