County softball starts at 10 a.m.

The now twice-delayed Hendricks County Softball Tournament will run Saturday at Avon High School after Friday’s action was postponed due to rain.

Game 1 between Brownsburg and Cascade, and Game 2 between Avon and Tri-West will both start at 10 a.m.

The winner of Game 1 will face Plainfield, and the winner of Game 2 will meet Danville, with both games starting at noon.

The championship game and consolation game will both be at 2 p.m. Due to Friday’s postponement, there will not be a first-round losers’ game.

The tournament was originally scheduled to be held March 21-22, but inclement weather forced a postponement.
