The Congressional Art Competition, sponsored by the Congressional Institute, is an annual competition to recognize the artistic efforts of high school students from across the country. Student artists submit their work to their local members of Congress, and the work of one artist from each district is selected for display in the United States Capitol.
Zufall’s artwork is already en route to Washington for display in the United States Capitol.
Zufall will visit her artwork at the Capitol and meet with Rep. Rokita in late June.
The program is an annual competition conducted each year since 1982.
According to the Congressional Institute, more than 650,000 artists have participated since the competition’s inception. For more information about rules and submission guidelines, please visit rokita.house.gov/serving-you/art-competition.
