Christopher Battista received the State Bank of Lizton scholarship for his undergrad, which assisted him in pursuing his dream of becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
Battista will graduate from the University of Louisville Medical School on May 10. He, along with his wife, Lisa, will be moving to Dayton, Ohio, where he will serve his orthopedic residency at Wright State for the next five years.
Battista graduated from Bethesda Christian High School in Brownsburg. He was involved in the community as he played Brownsburg Junior League soccer since he was 3. He also job shadowed many of the local physicians in Hendricks County who helped shape his future career decisions.
