Avon teen earns scholarship

---- — Cory Sullivan of Avon, IN recently received a $1,000 scholarship from the CHS Foundation, the major giving entity of CHS Inc., the nation’s leading farmer-owned cooperative and a global energy, grains and foods company.

Sullivan will study Agribusiness at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN and is one of 75 students receiving a $1,000 CHS Foundation scholarship.

“The CHS Foundation is proud to help build the next generation of leaders in production, science, technology and the business of agriculture,” says William Nelson, president, CHS Foundation and vice president, CHS Corporate Citizenship. “We believe these promising students have the potential to play an important role in the future of agriculture.”
