Family Info: I was just married this past summer to my college sweetheart, Justin Sullivan. He is a Kindergarten teacher in Decatur Township and is the women's soccer coach at Franklin College. My parents, Gary and Gloria and younger brother Cody live in southern Indiana. My sister, Katy and her husband, Andrew, and their two children Lakelyn and Tipton live in Greensburg, Indiana. I am also the girls' soccer coach at Plainfield High School and I love to spend what free time I have with my family or running. I have completed 7 half marathons and one full marathon. I graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2006 where I played soccer and got my masters in Administration from Ball State University in 2011. Go Quakers!!!
I truly love getting up every day for school. My students bring so much joy to my life and every day brings it's own surprises. The students come in every day ready to work hard, give their best effort and they have many hugs to share. I feel so blessed to work at Brentwood Elementary. It is my dream job. I am surrounded by an amazing 1st grade team, a talented staff and principal and so many great families that want what's best for their children. My favorite part of teaching 1st grade has to be watching my students grow so quickly over the course of the school year. Many students come in as beginning readers and writers and leave reading chapter books and writing stories. It sounds cliche, but I wouldn't trade my job for anything and I'm thankful every day!
