Churches partner topresent Cookie Prom
Avon Christian Church and Danville Christian Church are presenting a family prom for people of all ages. The two churches decided to sponsor and support the event for the community after hearing how it could help two local organizations brought forth by Bridget and Abby Feldmann as part of the “Pay it Forward” program.
With the two churches and help from church members of all ages, they have developed a community partnership to put on this fun fundraising event for all — Cookie Prom.
The event will run from 6 to 9 p.m. May 10 at Danville Christian Church. It will benefit Hendricks County Family Promise and Riley North Oncology.
Entrance to the prom is by donations only. A dinner, entertainment, music, dancing, family photos, and contests will be provided. The Cookie King and Queen of the prom will also be crowned.
