Church thanks community

To the Editor:

The Danville Christian Church would like to thank everyone who helped with our annual charity sale. This year we raised over $8,100! Our total amount for the last five years is over $23,000.

The money earned from this sale will go to several local charities, including the Shared Blessings Food Pantry (located at DUMC), the Hope Haven therapeutic riding stables in Plainfield, Project ANGEL, Sheltering Wings, and our local community schools.

If you donated, helped, or shopped at the sale this year, your contribution was a part of our success and we thank you.

We have decided to take furniture donations throughout the year. If you have furniture you would like to give, please call 874-8711. We also need banquet or utility tables of any kind. If you have any that you would like to donate, please call us.

Again, thank you for making our fifth annual Charity Sale a huge success.
