Kay Delee Kost of Plainfield died at home surrounded by family on Nov. 21. She was 73.
Born Nov. 26, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Eleanora Totten. She married John “Jack” Kost and he survives.
Mrs. Kost was the former owner of Coiffures By Kay in Avon and the Clipper Ship in Plainfield.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Jackie Kost, Karen (Manuel) Gentry, Karol Kost, Janet (John) Hardwick and Kathy (Greg) Crowe; son, Scott (Tiffany) Kost; brother, Andy Totten; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 25 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 24 in the funeral home.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
