Jon E. Weddle of Brownsburg died Friday at the age of 61.
Born May 3, 1952, in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Edward and Rosemary (Pritchett) Weddle. He married Nancy J. Baldauf Feb. 28, 1975, in Pittsboro Christian Church. She survives.
Mr. Weddle was a 1970 graduate of North Salem High School. He worked as a service technician for Hobart and later was a supervisor for the Town of Brownsburg. His memberships included Pittsboro Christian Church and the Brownsburg Sons of the American Legion.
Also surviving are two daughters, Emily J. Wasson (Mark) and Erica D. Baker (Jarod); a brother, Stephen Weddle (Barb); a sister, Becky Weddle-Powell; and five grandchildren.
A brother also preceded him in death.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Oct. 22 in Pittsboro Christian Church with the Rev. Alan Cloar officiating. Burial will be in K of P Cemetery in Lizton. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Oct. 21 in the church. Arrangements are entrusted to David A. Hall Mortuary in Pittsboro.
Memorials may be made to the Phi Beta Psi sorority for cancer research.
