David Wood of Brownsburg died June 28. He was 79.

Born April 30, 1934, in Charlestown, he was a son of the late Charles and Katherine Kimple Wood.

He attended Connection Pointe Christian Church in Brownsburg.

Survivors include a son, Robert David (Angela) Wood of North Salem; a daughter, Kim Wood of Sarasota, Fla.; grandchildre, Joshua, Jacob, Katie and Gracie Wood; a sister, Janie Goodman of Henryville; a brother, Donald Wood of Florida; and Ida Wood of Plainfield.

Services are 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bread of Life Ministries, 7510 E. C.R. 100 N., Avon, with the Rev. Chad McAtee officiating.

Calling is for four hours prior to the service at the church.

Porter Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
