Daniel William Webster of Avon died March 28 at home. He was 71.
Born May 13, 1942, in Utica, N.Y., he was the son of Mary Cosilman Webster and the late Daniel Everett Webster. He married Jane Pearce in 1972 and she survives.
Mr. Webster was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He served during the Vietnam War. He was an air traffic controller in Indianapolis for 17 years. After retiring, he and his wife were the executive directors of Collector’s Corner Inc.
In addition to his wife and mother, he was survived by four children, Daniel William (Jennifer) Webster Jr., Tabb Xavier Webster, Deborah (Brian) Jaggers, and Melissa (Chris) VanBibber; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and a sister, Beverly Conderman of Jacksonville, Fla.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. April 2 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. April 1 in the funeral home.
