Gregory Scott Best of Plainfield died Oct. 2. He was 51.
Born April 30, 1961, in Indianapolis, he was a son of the late Jack K. and Carolyn Sue (Disborough) Best.
Mr. Best was a graduate of Ball State University. He was currently working in sales and marketing at Chick-Fil-A in Plainfield.
He was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, April D. Best; a brother, Barry D. Best; sisters Jackie K. (Todd) Brumley, Kerrie L. (Brad Guthrie) Best, and Krissy S. (Jim) Schenck; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service is planned for 6 p.m. Oct. 5 at Plainfield Christian Church, 800 Dan Jones Road.
Calling will be for two hours prior to the service.
A scholarship fund has been set up for his daughter, April, and memorials may be sent for that to Raymond James, 9865 E. 116th St., Suite 800, Fishers, IN 46037.
