Mary Kathleen (Wright) Smith of Indianapolis died Friday at the age of 87.

Born Oct. 16, 1925, in Bloomfield, she was a daughter of the late Odell and Margaret Wright. She was the widow of Kenneth E. Smith.

Survivors include sons Rich Smith of Brownsburg, Doug Smith of Fishers, and Wesley Smith of Indianapolis; a daughter, Emily Sowers of Freedom; a brother, Van (Ike) Wright of Stinesville; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was a daughter, Alexis (Smith) Wilson; brothers Richard and Odell Wright Jr.; and a sister, Harriett Wright.

Services are 1 p.m. Monday at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg.

Interment will be at Brownsburg Cemetery.

Calling is for two hours prior to the service at the mortuary.
