Linda S. (Leckemby) Landis of Morgantown

Linda S. (Leckemby) Landis of Morgantown died Sept. 18 at her home. She was 60.

Born March 2, 1953, in San Joaquin Valley, Fresno, Calif., she was a daughter of the late George and Mona Jeanne Leckemby. She married David Landis Jr. and he survives.

Mrs. Landis worked 33 years at Landis Painting Co. Inc. in Greenwood. Her memberships included Hoosier Harvest Church in Martinsville.

Also surviving are sisters Pat Nabors and Michelle Woods of Fresno and Connie Price of Paso Robles, Calif.; sisters in Christ Rita S. Pottorff of Morgantown and Mary Catherine Sickels of Whiteland; goddaughters Amanda (Palmer) Walton and Kelly Palmer of Plainfield; a brother, James Dale Leckemby of California; and several nieces and nephews.

A grandmother, Eva Mildred Shade, also preceded her in death.

Services are 3 p.m. Sept. 29 at Hoosier Harvest Church, 4085 Leonard Road, Martinsville. Southern Indiana Cremation Society, LLC, is entrusted with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the children's ministry at Hoosier Harvest Church.
