Hendricks County Flyer
Dorothy Lee Sayman of Clayton died Thursday at the age of 77.
Born April 23, 1936, in Hiawatha, Kan., she was a daughter of Maurice and Martisha Nielsen. She married Ben Sayman on Nov. 3, 1956, and he survives.
Mrs. Sayman was a graduate of Stormont Vale School of Nursing in Topeka, Kan. She worked as a registered nurse at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville for 30 years before retiring in 1998.
Her memberships included Hendricks County Senior Citizens, Red Hat Society, and TOPS.
Also surviving are sons Bruce (Cindy) Sayman of Indianapolis and David (Pam) Sayman of Rushville; a daughter, Theresa (David) Collins of Indianapolis; a sister, Mary Knight of Olathe, Kan.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are 10 a.m. Sept. 24 at Clayton Christian Church, with calling for an hour prior to services.
Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home in Clayton is entrusted with arrangements.
