David Lee Dawes of Brownsburg died Monday. He was 75.

Born Sept. 16, 1937, he was a son of the late Eugene and Marion Dawes.

Mr. Dawes was a U.S. Navy veteran. He retired from Yellow Freight.

He was a member of Faith Missionary Church.

Survivors include his wife, Frances; sons David (Janie) Dawes and Eric (Kelly) Dawes; a daughter, Caprice Kash; grandchildren Eric Dawes, Megan Dawes, Erin Baker, Jennifer Kash, Terra Hamilton, and Victoria Kash; brothers Dennis Dawes and Tom Dawes; and a sister, Nancy Russell.

Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg.

Calling at the mortuary is for two hours prior to the service.
