Claudia G. Setty of Avon died July 13 at Indiana University West Hospital in Avon. She was 60.

Born July 21, 1952, in Beech Grove, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Mildred Palmer Medlock. She married Marvin R. Setty on May 29, 1971, and he survives.

She graduated in 1970 from Cascade High School. She worked 15 years for Walmart before retiring.

Mrs. Setty was an active member of Monrovia Church of the Nazarene.

She enjoyed music, family gatherings, water fights, camping, gardening, needle point, crocheting, and cooking.

Additional survivors include sons Joseph R. (Jennifer) Setty and Kenny A. (Kristen) Setty; daughters Crystal A. (Jerry) Hutto and Annissa Setty; a brother, Jack Medlock; sisters Patsy Stevens and Mary Chastain; and grandchildren Desiree and Devin Gilbert, Taylor Hutto, Dillon and Wyatt Setty.

Preceding her in death were sisters Georgia Coffey and Belinda Reed.

Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield with Darrel Dennis officiating. Interment will follow at Center Valley Cemetery in Clayton.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
