Nicholas Steven Schoening of Batavia, Ohio, died July 12 at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was 46.
He was an art teacher at Campbell County High School, and he formerly taught at Glen Este Middle School.
Survivors include his wife, Kelly (Guilfoyle) Schoening; children Meghan and Brendan Schoening of Batavia; sisters Janet Stoneking of Danville, and Julie Griffin of Avon; brothers Kurt Schoening of Danville, Eric Schoening of Wabash, and Jon Schoening of Indianapolis; 23 nieces and nephews and one great-niece and one great-nephew.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Delbert and Margaret Schoening, and his brother, Teddy Schoening.
Mass of Christian Burial services are 7 p.m. July 19 at St. Veronica Church, 4473 Mt. Carmel Tobasco Road, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Calling is for three hours prior to the service at the church.
