Diane Phillips Hopper died Dec. 26, 2012. She was 63.
Born Feb. 18, 1949, she was a daughter of Meredith Phillips and Carolyn (Love) Phillips.
She was a 1967 graduate of Brownsburg High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in education from Indiana University. She later completed masters degrees in human resources, counseling, and education. She worked for more than 37 years for the Brownsburg Community School Corporation.
Mrs. Hopper was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma sorority, a volunteer at Eagle Creek Park, and attended St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church in Danville.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel E. Hopper; daughters Shannon (Derek) Walmoth and Andrea Hopper; two granddaughters; sisters Jeanette Wilson and husband Mike, and Jan Miller; a brother, Craig Phillips and wife Lorry; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service is from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 600 N. Washington St., Danville.
