Dallas Rolland “Jack” Watts of Pittsboro died April 13. He was 87.
Born May 14, 1926, in Crawfordsville, he was the son of the late Willard W. and Susie G. (Wilson) Watts. He married Betty (Dillon) Watts and she preceded him in death.
Mr. Watts graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1944. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from Indiana State University. Mr. Watts was a member of the ISU Alumni Association and Lambda Chi Fraternity.
He was employed by Allison Division General Motors for 32 years and Hertz for 13. He was a member of Pittsboro United Methodist Church and Pittsboro American Legion.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa (Watts) Schaffner of Maineville, Ohio; son, Jay B. (Susan) Watts of Lizton; and four grandchildren, Christy and Scott Schaffner, and Todd and Betsy Watts.
Private graveside services with burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. April 19 in David A. Hall Mortuary in Pittsboro.
