Isaac Wayne Schenck

Isaac Wayne Schenck died June 28 at his Pittsboro home. He was 90.

Born Aug. 11, 1922, in Pittsboro, he was a son of the late Isaac Jefferson and Nina Susan (Everett) Schenck. He married Bonnetta Yetive Miller in Zionsville on Nov. 25, 1942, and she survives.

Mr. Schenck was a lifelong farmer who preferred Allis Chalmers.

He was a member of Cornith Community Church and the Senior Citizens Club in Lebanon. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed basketball.

Additional survivors include a son, Mickey Schenck; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were brothers Carl, Earl, Jimmy, Jeff, and Uster Schenck; a sister, Peg Schenck; and a son, Danny Schenck.

Services were Tuesday at David A. Hall Mortuary in Pittsboro. Interment was at Sparks Cemetery in Pittsboro.
