James Arthur Koskey died June 29. He was 80.

Mr. Koskey worked as a computer programmer for American Legion National Headquarters for 35 years, retiring in 1997.

He was a member of American Legion Post 500, Mustang Club of Indianapolis, a former Boy Scout Master, and volunteer at Cats Haven. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play, working puzzles, and was an avid Indy and NASCAR race fan and a John Deere toy collector.  Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Theckla Koskey; children Brian Jeffrey (Kelly) Koskey) and Sandra (James) Fulcher; a brother, Gene Arnold Koskey; a sister, Jane Bracken; and grandchildren Amanda Fulcher and Nyssa Koskey.

Graveside services are 11 a.m. Friday at Washington Park North Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg.
