Wayne B. Good died May 4 at Brownsburg Meadows. He was 87.
Born Oct. 23, 1926, in Clermont, he was a son of the late Edgar Leslie and Ruth Jane (Brown) Good. He married Mary Ann Reynolds Sept. 4, 1964, in Pittsboro.
Mr. Good was a self-employed carpenter. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Pittsboro United Methodist Church and Brownsburg American Legion.
Survivors include sons Ronald W. and Mark T. Good; a daughter, Cynthia J. (Jack) Miller; a brother, Max Good; sisters Laura Thomas, Maxine Teter and Delores Marvel; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are 10 a.m. May 7 at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Lizton, with the Rev. Dave Buckner officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Pittsboro United Methodist Church Capital Fund.
