Kenneth Boger of Avon died Wednesday at the age of 90.
Mr. Boger was an Army veteran of World War II (HQ Battery of the 202nd Field Artillery Battalion) and was awarded two Purple Hearts for his service. He worked in purchasing for Allison and was a Master Gardener. His memberships included Fairfax Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Rod (Carolyn) Boger; a daughter, Jan (David) Adams; a sister, Louise Lemon; three grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
His wife, Martha Jane Boger, and a son, Russell Boger, preceded him in death.
Services are 10 a.m. Nov. 18 in Conkle Funeral Home, Avon Chapel, with visitation there 3-8 p.m. Nov. 17. Burial will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
