Merold Dean Weatherman died Saturday

Merold Dean Weatherman died Saturday at his Avon home. He was 80.

Born July 22, 1932, in Clinton, he was a son of the late Harold and Ena Vandevoir Weatherman.

He had been a farmer and had worked for Insley Manufacturing, REA Express, and for the State of Indiana FSSA.

Mr. Weatherman was a member of the Amo United Methodist Church and the Rotary Club.

Survivors include his wife, Mary M. Lewis Weatherman; sons Terry Weatherman and wife Heather of Plainfield, Tim Weatherman and wife Janet of Greencastle, and Tom Weatherman and wife Lauri of Camby; grandchildren Ryan, Rachel, Jeremy, and Brandon; a brother, Woody Weatherman and wife Judy of Clayton; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are noon Thursday at Amo United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Torrance officiating. Interment will follow at Coatesville Cemetery.

Calling is for two hours prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Amo United Methodist Church.

Bousley-Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville is handling arrangements.
