— Joan R. Wolfe of Plainfield died Thursday. She was 53 and had lived in Plainfield and Indianapolis for most of her life.
Born July 5, 1959, in Indianapolis, she was a daughter of Russell and Fannie (Land) Parker. She married Don Wolfe on Nov. 22, 1991, and he survives.
Mrs. Wolfe was a graduate of Manuel High School and worked 27 years as a collection manager for Indiana Members Credit Union in Indianapolis.
She was a member of Indiana Credit Union League and was involved with several Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Walks. She also volunteered with Back Pack Attack through work for several years.
Additional survivors include her mother, Fannie (Land) Parker of Indianapolis; children Jamie Davidson of Lafayette, Rianna Dodson of Florida, Travis Wolfe of Plainfield, James Martin of Plainfield, and Blair Wolfe of Plainfield; grandchildren Tyler and Austin Dodson, Abigail Thompson, A.J. Gillum, Alivia Green, Elijah and Jenna Martin, and Baleigh, Rylie, Evan, Theron and Titus Wolfe; one great-grandson; brothers Ray “Eugene” Parker of Bloomington and Charles Parker of Danville; and sisters Regina Parker of Indianapolis and Barbara Pulliam of Greenwood.
Preceding her in death was her father, Russell Parker.
Services are 6 p.m. Monday at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
