Diane Louise Rugenstein Hatley of Cloverdale died Tuesday. She was 68 and had formerly resided in Plainfield.
Born Dec. 1, 1944, in Indianapolis, she was a daughter of Evans Warren and Frieda Helene Jones Rugenstein.
Mrs. Hatley was a childcare giver for many years.
She was a member of Monrovia Christian Church, liked NASCAR, and was an avid Purdue University fan.
Survivors include a daughter, Paula J. (Travis) Shadwick of Cloverdale; a sister, Anita S. (Michael) Hedrick of Danville; brothers David L. (Laurie) Rugenstein of Boulder, Colo., and Walter T. Rugenstein of Indianapolis; and grandchildren Kali Dawn, Seth Nathaniel, and Courtney Rose Shadwick, all of Cloverdale.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Paul J. Hatley; a daughter, Beverly Dawn Hatley; and a brother, “Sonny” Evans Hatley Jr.
Services are 7 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. S.R. 135, Greenwood.
Calling is for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Graveside services are 1 p.m. March 4 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
