V. Diane Baker Harrison of Danville died Saturday at the age of 78.
Born Dec. 23, 1934, in Columbus, Ind., she was the daughter of Phillip and Virginia (Boyer) Baker. She married Richard C. Harrison in 1962 and he preceded her in death in 2006.
Mrs. Harrison graduated from Columbus High School. She was a homemaker and also worked in the medical records department at Bartholomew County Hospital during the 1960s until she moved to Danville in 1974.
Her memberships included the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Brownsburg and Tri Kappa Sorority. She also volunteered at the Danville Public Library and the Hendricks County Senior Center.
Survivors include her sons, Carl E. (Diane) Bohall of Punta Gorda, Fla., David C. (Judy) Bohall of Avon, R. Daniel (Cara) Harrison of Avon, and Phillip C. Harrison of Danville; a sister, Sondra Mueller of Columbus; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Nov. 13 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Brownsburg. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Nov. 12 in Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home, Danville, and for one hour prior to services in the church.
