Michael A. Romer of Mooresville died Friday. He was 44.
Born Oct. 10, 1969, in Danville, he was a son of Michael A. Romer Sr. and Carol (Lee). He married Shonda L. Rost on March 12, 1994, and she survives.
Mr. Romer owned and operated Mike’s Guttering in Mooresville for 25 years. He enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, fishing, playing softball, and watching the Philadelphia Eagles. He was also a member of the Tightline Bass Club. He has lived in Mooresville, Plainfield, Clayton, and his birthplace of Danville.
Additional survivors include sons Andrew M. Romer and Ricky Romer, both of Mooresville; his mother, Carol Romer of Clayton; a sister, Laura Troy; brothers David and Bill Romer; and several nieces, nephews, and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A celebration of live will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville with Don Endsley officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood.
