Leonard Lee Foster of Avon died Saturday. He was 74.
Born Oct. 2, 1938, in Elwood, he was the son of the late Max and Vera (Evans) Foster. He married Audrey L. Everts and she survives.
Mr. Foster worked as a telecommunications specialist for AT&T for 25 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Plainfield Christian Church, the Groveland Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star, and the Indianapolis Scottish Rite.
Also surviving are two sons, John L. (Julie) and Lee F. (Dolly) Foster; two daughters, Clarena (Bryan) Akin and Vera L. (Henry) Miller; a sister, Judy Drummond; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Services are 6 p.m. Sept. 5 in Plainfield Christian Church, 800 Dan Jones Road, where friends may call 3 p.m. until service time. Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, is in charge of arrangements.
