Kathryn Jo Tate of Cicero died Tuesday. She was 45.
Born Oct. 22, 1968, in Crawfordsville, she was a daughter of Phillip Bowman of Crawfordsville and the late Patricia (Coventry) Bowman. She married Scott Tate in 1993 and he survives.
Mrs. Tate grew up in North Salem and attended Tri-West High School, graduating in 1987. She also graduated from the IU Kelly School of Business. She spent her career in property casualty insurance.
She was a Girl Scout leader and was involved in 4-H, Race for the Cure, and school functions. She also enjoyed camping, traveling, playing cards, and spending time with friends and family.
Additional survivors include daughters Alexandria Tate and Courtney Tate; brothers Dan (Angie) Bowman, Jeramiah Bowman, and Jacob (Tara) Bowman; four nephews and a niece; many life-long friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her favorite puppy, Moose.
Services are 11 a.m. today at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Interment will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Westfield.
