Junior Dale Jenkins of Pittsboro died Monday at the age of 39.

He was born July 10, 1974, in Indianapolis.

Mr. Jenkins had been a meat cutter for Marsh and Kroger. He was a 1994 graduate of Brownsburg High School and earned an associate's degree from ITT.

Survivors include his wife, Monica J. "Ashley" Jenkins; a son, Shane Jenkins; a daughter, Caitlynn Jenkins; his mother and stepfather, Gail and Jack Payne; his father, Carl Dale Jenkins; his grandmother, Ethelene Hill; five sisters, Gloria Jenkins, Crystal Bringham, Jackie Buckland, Chelsie Neville, and Jessica Honeycutt; an aunt, Jill McCarty; and an uncle, James Curtis Hall II.

Services are 4 p.m. Nov. 2 in David A. Hall Mortuary, Pittsboro.

Memorials may be made for the benefit of Mr. Jenkins' children. Envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
